The 10/11 season was Ozil’s first for the Loa Blancos. After an amazing World Cup in 2010, the Spanish Giants needed to sign him. He had a fantastic first season at the Bernabe ending with 25 assist. This was the most of any player in Europe’s big leagues that season. He was emphatic as they won the Copa Del Rey.
